The fine folks over at Mongrel Media have kindly offered to work with us to keep you, the fans, informed on all the news related to “One Week”. The film is scheduled for a March 9, 2009 release and the official website, OneWeek.ca will be coming online starting in February 2009. I’ll be sure to let you know once it’s available. No word if the release will be beyond Canadian borders, but it’s hopeful that it could reach international audiences.

Well, I finally was able to get my screen captures caught up! The videos I downloaded were a little funky, so it took a few tries. :) Also, I received the official description and new photos for episode 1.07 of Fringe. The episode will be called “In Which We Meet Mr. Jones”. An interesting title and an even more interesting storyline. One that seems to involve a great deal of screen time for Josh!

Every second counts when a strange, almost-otherworldly parasite mysteriously attaches itself to the internal organs of a dying FBI agent. With a life on the line and strong suspicions of a Pattern connection, Agent Dunham rushes to Germany to meet with an imprisoned man who reveals disconcerting details of a much larger threat. Meanwhile, Peter and Walter attempt to help Olivia by tapping into a dead man’s brainwaves in the all-new “In Which We Meet Mr. Jones” episode of FRINGE airing Tuesday, Nov. 11 (9:01-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Hello, everyone! Welcome to the new look of Josh-Jackson.net! I want to thank Steph of GotMedia?org for her EXTREME dedication with this layout and working with me to get this redesign up and running. Also a huge thank you to Kelly for surprising us both with photo donations of Josh from his recent photo shoot for InStyle Magazine. They really helped with the design process and adding some finishing touches to the site.

You’ll find that the navigation is a little more enhanced and user friendly. The sections have all been updated, recategorized and tooled to fit your needs. I’ve also included many ’submission forms’ that allow you, the visitor, to make suggestions, feedback, donations or anything that you can think of to help keep this site looking and running to its fullest potential. There is also a whole new interaction section just for the fans and you’ll find a lot of fun things to do there, as well as share stories and more with other fans.

The main page “news updates” section here in this box is new, too. You’ll be able to find related articles to various topics, find updates specifically related to things you’re looking for (like clicking the icon on the left “Images” will show posts with image related content) and by clicking the “Share/Save” button in the lower right side of each post, you’ll be able to blog about the entries or send to friends. Also, you can sign up for our RSS Feed which will work for you just like a blog update! You’ll get instant notification when Josh-Jackson.net is updated. You’ll never miss out!

I’ve also retooled the entire video section. They will now all be featured in the new Joshua Jackson Network Video Archives — found at JoshuaJacksonVideos.com. More features will be added there in the future, but be sure to check it out and find some videos you may have overlooked in the past.

Some pages are still in the works, but will be up in the next few days. Once they’re available, I’ll make sure to let you all know. The flash ‘movie’ at the top will be updated, too. We’re just trying something new out, but it will be a bit different in the future. I didn’t want to keep the site down for too long, so there will be a few things that will be freshened up during the week and then the site will 100% complete.

To continue with the good news, here are some new photos! Thanks again to Kelly for sending these over to us!

Let me know what you think! I really look forward to your comments and feedback. I was going for something a little more dramatic and sophisticated looking. I know that this is a bit of a change with a darker background than usual and I hope you all like it. :)

What did all of you think of this week’s episode? I’d love to hear your thoughts. I’ll be updating the site with caps later today and have uploaded the promo from the next episode, “Power Hungry”, which will air in 2 weeks. So, you’ll get a little break if you need to catch up. ;)

I’ve been really busy working on another project, so I hope to come back with some extra goodies really soon. But I thought I’d just make a quick post to let you all know that I’m still around.

We have two new stills of Josh in episode 1×05 called, “Power Hungry”. These stills coincide with the behind the scenes shots that I posted a little while back. I’ve also uploaded a video from Canada’s eTalk news where they hint at Fringe making it to the 2009 Emmys and possibly an engagement to Diane? (although they site zero sources, merely wishful thinking)

My apologies for not getting this up last night. It was a much longer show that I had originally thought, so I scaled it down to just the parts that featured Josh. There are two segments, so be sure to download both. :)

Another episode of Fringe had aired and I’d love to get your feedback! Feel free to leave your comments in this post. Caps from this episode are now up. Our JJN pal, Demy will be helping out this week with caps, too. I also have a fun video of Josh and the Fringe cast on a show called inFANity. That will be uploaded for you all later tonight. There will be some exciting changes with the site in the next week or so and I can’t wait to unveil what I’ve been working on. I hope you all like it. :) Be sure to check back later on for additional caps and video.

Per TVBytheNumbers.com, The overnight ratings shows Fringe retained a good bit of House’s viewers with 9.651 million and had a 4.2/10 among 18-49 year olds (second for the hour only to DWTS w/4.5/11. Fringe also destroyed the field among 18-34 year olds with a 4.0/11. However, Fringe appears to have dropped even more — up against the premiere of The Mentalist with a 6.3/9, Despite what appears will be many fewer viewers it’s possible Fringe beats The Mentalist among 18-49 year olds. The question is, if it doesn’t, will Fox continue to refer to Fringe as a “smash hit?” Stay tuned…

I’ll be uploading my own video for next week’s trailer, but thanks to the good folks at FringeTelevision.com for getting this up so quickly.
