With an interesting move by FOX, Fringe will be kicking off the Fall 2009 Season in September on Thursday nights. This will be interesting considering it’ll be up against powerful shows such as 30 Rock and The Office. However, with those shows being comedies and Fringe is very much a drama, I don’t think FOX will be too worried about the ratings for the demographics. What’s good is that it’ll come on after Bones, which’ll avoid all the nasty “American Idol Layovers” and allow the viewers to get a full episode.
The announcement came at the highly anticipated 2009 FOX Upfronts held in New York, today. Josh and his Fringe co-stars were in attendance. I’ve updated photos to the gallery:

ETA: Access Hollywood chatted with Josh and John Noble at the event and ask them some questions about the show.
