Joshua Jackson in T New York Times Style Magazine
JOSHUA JACKSON, A K A PETER BISHOP ON ‘‘FRINGE’’ ROLE MODEL: DUSTIN HOFFMAN IN ‘‘RAIN MAN.’’ STORY LINE: TO FOLLOW OTHER ‘‘DAWSON’S CREEK’’ ALUMNI ONTO THE INDIE SCREEN. PROJECT HOLLYWOOD: ‘‘ONE WEEK,’’ A ROAD FILM ABOUT SELF-DISCOVERY.

If Gaius Charles has a certain innate gravitas, Joshua Jackson, who is currently starring in the sci-fi show “Fringe,” has a natural sophistication. A decade ago, he was the too-smart-for-his-own-good Pacey on “Dawson’s Creek,” and now he is playing the cool and complicated Peter Bishop. A somewhat mysterious savant who always looks as if he just walked in from an early Bond film, Jackson has been acting since he was a child, but he’s shed any vestiges of his teen-drama past. At 30, he has the style of a romantic leading man. Although Jackson prefers the paranormal events on “Fringe” to the soap operatics on “Dawson’s Creek,” it’s easy to imagine him wooing a leading lady with grace and style.

This issue will be hitting newsstands on Sunday, March 8th. Once it’s available, I’ll be sure to scan and post the full scale images online.
