Just in time for the holidays! FOX has release the latest promo images for two upcoming new episodes, “Unearthed” and “Edina City Limits”. Both will be out the week of January 11th, respectfully. January 11th is FRINGE’s “special night” episode on Monday followed by a new episode in its current time slot on Thursday, January 14th. New images have been updated below:

We’ve been doubly blessed with news today! First, Josh made his second appearance on the 999th episode of Craig Ferguson last night and it was hilarious! His ever handy phone was on and always seems to get him into a bit of trouble, but provided for some very funny comedy on the show. As a side note, I wanted to give a heads up to all of you who have been sending the site emails. They will be answered as soon as possible, as I was having some email difficulties in them actually getting out. The problem is being looked into and I hope to answer you all before the end of the week.

We’re still waiting for some photos of Josh attending the Friends Without a Border event, but in the mean time I wanted to update you all about an upcoming TV appearance!

Josh will be returning once again to the Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson on Monday, December 14th! Be sure to set your DVRs and expect a very funny show. Then come back and look for the clip to download the next day.

Great news! Josh has just signed on to a new movie project called, UFO.

Per Variety:

Variety reports that Joshua Jackson (Fox’s “Fringe”) will star in UFO, the feature adaptation of the British TV series to be directed by visual effects guru Matthew Gratzner.

Jackson will star as Paul Foster, a test pilot who joins S.H.A.D.O. (Supreme Headquarters Alien Defense Organization), a covert organization built under a Hollywood studio that defends Earth against a race of aliens who have been abducting humans and using the body parts.

The Gerry Anderson-created series was a cult hit in the 1970s. The film, written by Ryan Gaudet and Joseph Kanarek, is scheduled to start shooting in the spring in the UK.

“Character development is the most critical part of UFO, and Joshua’s terrific talent and range is exactly what I need to convey the inner conflict of the character of Paul Foster,” Gratzner said.

Tomorrow night is a new episode of Fringe that has FOX all a twitter with promoting the heck out of it. They’ve had pseudo-Observers all over America popping up out in public to get the message across. I think this means you need to check it out tomorrow night.

And is this all leading up to inter-dimensional war?
“Yeah, the usual. [Laughs.] I’m not sure that a full-fledged tanks and bombs war is ever where the show is headed. The advanced shapeshifter soldiers that are already here—I think that’s more the idea. I think it’ll be much more cloak-and-dagger, and not some fleet lands on our shores. I definitely think the show is headed in that direction, and that confrontation is the whole purpose behind the show. But I don’t think [Fringe] is ever going to be Battlestar Galactica, no full-fledged infantry and shock troops war. Most of it will happen in the back alleys.” Ed. note: These are Jackson’s personal thoughts, not necessarily what the writers have in store.
